Tales from the Trails

2020 - 2021

THE COLD AND SNOWY SIDE
If you love the cold of winter, you’re going to love our forecast if you live in the northern half of the country. Our long-range forecast is calling for a cold winter with normal to below-normal temperatures in areas from the Great Lakes and Midwest, westward through the Northern and Central Plains, and Rockies.

2018 Wrap-Up

The 2018 season was another mild winter. Our trails were only open for a short time but everybody made the most of it. This year we had our annual club trip in Boulder Junction and everyone had a lot of fun!

2017 Wrap-up

Much like last year, 2017 was another slow season for snowmobiling. We managed to have a club ride in mid-December but for most of the season we didn't have enough snow to keep the trails open. A lot of members said they had to go up north to find snow. In late February, some even went as far as the Keweenaw in the U.P. just to find good trails. Let's hope next year works out better!
