Dates for the Club Trip are Wednesday January 17 through Sunday January 21.
I have reserved the Musky River Lodge on Lake Alice in Tomahawk. Some have stayed here before. It is a vintage hotel that had been purchased by a family and is now available to rent through VRBO. The lodge has 13 bedrooms with a variety of queen full and single beds. I think one room has bunks. The queen beds will be held for couples. The lodge can house 20 to 24 people and you may have to share a room.
There are several bathrooms at the lodge but all have to share.
There is a large dining room and kitchen and the lower level has a bar (not stocked) and game room for us to use. This is a non-refundable location after 12/1/17 so a $50 per person non-refundable deposit is required if you want to stay. The Lodge tents for $550 per night plus $200 cleaning fee and we will split the cost over the number of people staying.
With the location we could easily trailer north for day riding but I am thinking we will have snow.
If you would like to come up at that time but are looking for a little more privacy or a place for the family there are couple more options I found;
Just down the road is The Tomahawk Resort. They have 4 cabins with prices ranging from $85 o $135 per night. Their web site is tomahawkresortwi.com I talked with the owner Jason and he has all 4 cabins available now. The cabins sleep 4 or more. Members will need to reserve these on their own. Just mention you are with the Caledonia Sno-Lords.
Another very close option for a large family or group is a home listed through VRBO also on Lake Alice. At the VRBO website search #455054 with the dates you want to stay. This is a more modern home with 3 bedrooms with queen beds and a bedroom with several bunk beds for the kids. This home is $575 per night and members will need to reserve on their own also.
All options will keep is in the same general area
If you have questions you can call, text or email me. Leave messages during the day and I will get back to you in the evening.
